RAW MATERIALS

PE - POLYETHYLENE

Polyethylene is the simplest of the synthetic polymers and it is the most common among plastic raw materials. It is often shown with the short name "PE". Polyethylene is a thermoplastic resin, it looks like a solid and can be transparent (amorphous type) or white (crystal type) with very good properties of insulation and chemical stability, it is very versatile and one of the cheapest plastic raw materials.

CLASSIFICATION OF POLYETHYLENE

According to the distribution of the molecular weights and the grade of branches we can obtain various types of PE with different properties and uses:

  • Low density polyethylene (LDPE): it has more branches than HDPE, it is for this reason a more ductile and soft material. It is appreciated for its high impact strength and flexibility.
  • High density polyethylene (HDPE): the main characteristics compared to low density polyethylene are the high rigidity and hardness, the greater resistance to heat.

APPLICATIONS

One of the most popular application of Polyethylene is the production of plastic bags and shoppers. The range AJRCOR is representing the best offer you can find in this moment on the market, thanks to the coextrusion production processing, which is an innovative method that can mix in the same time HDPE and LDPE granules, exalting the best characteristics of both polymers. We would like to point out that the production of these articles is made by using prime raw materials only, which guarantee strength and elasticity even if the weight is reduced and give also a good smelling.

The fields of applications of the AJRCOR range are:

  • household;
  • industrial.
